Your Mission
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager - Customer Delivery who will lead the successful implementation and delivery of technical solutions for our customers. You will be the central contact for clients during projects and responsible for ensuring we deliver on time, within scope, and with clear customer value. You will serve as the bridge between customers and deepset Solution Delivery, Engineering and GTM teams. This role requires a balance of project management expertise, technical acumen, and customer facing communication skills.
Your Impact
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers during delivery, managing expectations and communications through complex AI deployments.
- Own the planning, execution, and reporting for customer implementations with deepset using Haystack, deepset AI Platform and custom solutions. Ensuring customers achieve value quickly and build trust in our solutions.
- Run regular project check-ins, track milestones, manage scope, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Manage risk, dependencies and blockers, escalate when needed, and proactively manage solutions.
- Produce project plans, dashboards, and status updates that make progress, status and risks transparent to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive excellence in delivery by helping to define and refine delivery playbooks, templates, and processes to scale our Enterprise delivery function.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure clear documentation in CRM and other systems.
Your Profile
- 4+ years of Technical Project/Program Management or Customer Delivery in Enterprise software (AI, SaaS, or infrastructure preferred).
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Asana, etc.).
- Familiar with and able to communicate technical concepts related to APIs, Cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), deployment models (On-Prem, Cloud and Hybrid), and software integration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in leading external delivery projects, managing stakeholders at senior levels, and building strong client relationships.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solver with strong conflict-resolution and risk-management abilities.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable owning outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Customer-first mindset, focused on driving value and successful outcomes.
- Experience in creating, documenting, and iterating on processes to drive operational excellence.
Nice to Have
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or Agile certification.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, or data migration projects.
- Experience working with public sector, finance, or regulated industries.
- Business fluency in German.
