Celonis, the global leader in Process Intelligence, and deepset, the company behind the leading open-source AI framework and platform Haystack, today announced a partnership to build an integrated sovereign AI platform for mission-critical operations across public sector, defense, cybersecurity, policing, and critical infrastructure organizations.
The partnership combines Celonis’ operational intelligence and the Celonis Context Model (CCM) for agentic AI with deepset’s governed platform for AI agents in sovereign infrastructures to enable organizations to deploy trustworthy, auditable, and sovereign AI systems in highly sensitive operational environments. Together, Celonis and deepset will help organizations unify fragmented operational data, documents, and workflows to improve situational awareness, accelerate investigations, detect operational risks earlier, and support coordinated decision-making across teams and agencies.
The joint platform is designed for organizations that require full control over infrastructure, models, and data operations. It can be deployed on the user's preferred infrastructure without vendor lock-in.
“At deepset, we believe organizations need AI systems they can fully trust and control — especially in mission-critical environments,” said Milos Rusic, CEO and co-founder of deepset. “By combining Haystack’s open and governed AI agents with the Celonis Context Model, we are creating a European alternative for operational AI that is transparent, auditable, and grounded in real-world operational context.”
Celonis provides the operational context layer that enterprise AI systems often lack. Through its Process Intelligence Platform and newly introduced Celonis Context Model (CCM), Celonis enables AI systems to understand how organizations actually operate by connecting process data, business knowledge, and decision intelligence in real time.
“AI systems are only as effective as the operational context they are given,” said Florian Schewior, Managing Director DACH at Celonis. “By combining Celonis Process Intelligence and Context Model capabilities with deepset’s AI orchestration platform, we can help public sector and security organizations deploy AI systems that are not only powerful, but operationally grounded, explainable, and aligned with sovereign infrastructure requirements.”
The partnership will focus on organizations in the DACH region and broader European sovereign AI initiatives in support of security, defense, and public sector modernization programs.
The companies will continue expanding the partnership through joint customer engagements, ecosystem collaborations, and appearances at industry events.
Celonis makes processes work — for people, companies, and the planet.
