Specialized administrative applications are the heart of Germany's public administration. deepset provides a platform on which such applications can be built. In the district of Borken, it reduces the work required for long-term care applications by one-third. The AI toolkit could also become part of Germany's future "Deutschland-Stack."

Celonis has partnered with deepset, the creators of the Haystack AI framework and platform to create a sovereign AI platform that combines their two technologies for sensitive sectors such as the military, cybersecurity, policing and national infrastructure.

The American AI ban highlights Europe's dependence on the US for AI and technology initiatives. France is reacting and replacing Palantir for its intelligence services. In Germany, the software is also becoming a question of sovereignty.
